Environmental Sciences and Ecology: Current Research is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes high quality research papers and review articles about all aspects of environmental topics and its effects on ecosystems and human health. The journal welcomes high-quality process-oriented and hypothesis-based submissions that report results from original and novel research and contribute new knowledge to help address problems related to ESECR at a regional or global scale.

AIM & SCOPE

ESECR is a multi-disciplinary journal publishing high quality and novel information about anthropogenic issues of global relevance and applicability in a wide range of environmental disciplines and demonstrating environmental application in the real-world context. And aims to address a series of related topics and will include methodological advances in the environmental and sustainability assessment of processes and products from a holistic perspective. The life cycle sustainability perspective involves the assessment of environmental/social/economic dimensions throughout the production systems, from the extraction of raw materials, through the production of goods, to the use of those goods and the management of the resulting waste. Life cycle sustainability assessment can support informed decisions, eco-design, and improvement actions to enhance sustainability, without burden shifting.
