Reviewer Guidelines

INFORMATION FOR REVIEWER

  • Reviewer is responsible to both the author and the editor in regard to the manuscript. Peer-Reviewed publications help to judge the funding decisions in science and the academic advancement of scientists. Some important guidelines for reviewers are given below based on COPE Guidelines for peer reviewers. Our aim is to perform the quality peer-review in timely manner.
  • Reviewer should accept a manuscript for review only if he/she is a subject expertise. If the topic is not related, then the reviewer should let the editorial office know within 48 hours regarding the non-judgement on the manuscript assigned.
  • The review comment provided should be transparent for the editor and author. For better clarification examples should be submitted to justify their comment.
  • The review comment should be genuine and should not be influenced by the origins of the manuscript, nationality, religious or political beliefs, gender or other characteristics of the authors, or by commercial considerations.
  • The comment should be given in timely manner to avoid the delay in publication. If the provided time for review is not sufficient, the reviewer may request an extension to complete the review.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of manuscript details and peer-review comments are necessary during or after the review process.
  • Reviewers should not use any information related to the manuscript obtained during the peer-review process for their own or any other person’s or organization's advantage or to disadvantage or discredit others.
